6 Nights and 7 Days.

1 st Day – Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport to Colombo.
On arrival in Sri Lanka you will be met and assisted by our Chauffeur. Once you check in at your hotel
relax and recover from any jet lag. If you have spare time your chauffeur will introduce you to the sights
and sounds of Colombo.
Drive through the commercial and city center known as the “Fort”, built by the Portuguese in the 16th
century where grand colonial era buildings stand alongside modern office structures. See the vibrant
markets and bazaars of Pettah, and the National Museum with its fine collection of lovely antiques and
art of Sri Lanka. You could visit a Buddhist temple and a Hindu Kovil to experience the diversity of
religion, ethnicity and customs of the people. Alternatively you may indulge in some shopping.

2 nd Day – Anuradhapura.
After exploring Colombo the first day, you will be driven to the city of Anuradhapura. This is the city of
ancient ruins where you can obtain an in-depth exploration of the history of Sri Lanka. One of the stops
here is the Yapahuwa ancient city: a 300 foot fortified wonder that dates back to the 13th century.
Around this area you will also visit the Mihintale Buddhist Temple where you will find more ruins
amongst the first Buddhist Temple in Sri Lanka.

3 rd Day – Sigiriya.
You will move from Anuradhapura to Sigiriya where we have some adventure lined up for you amidst
the dated historical ruins. Sigiriya, also known as the “Lions Rock” is a palace built by an ancient King on
top of a rock. To see the palace you have to climb the rock, which is quite a do-able activity by most of
us. During your climb you will see some beautiful frescos embedded in the rock and a Lion’s Gate, as the
entrance to the palace. At the top you will see ruins of the palace as well as an amazingly breathtaking
view of the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka.

4 th Day – Kandy.
The next day you will head towards the hill capital of the Island – Kandy. On the way you will visit an
Ayurvedic Garden. Later in the day you can visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens in Kandy to see some of
the most exquisite flora that Sri Lanka boasts of. You will also be taken to visit the Temple of the Sacred
Tooth Relic. Also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, this golden roofed Temple houses the relic of Lord
Buddha’s tooth. Towards the evening you can enjoy an entertaining Kandyan cultural dance show.

5 th Day – Nuwara Eliya.
The beautiful town of Nuwara Eliya, set in the heart of Tea country and situated 1890 meters above sea
level, is where the British succeeded in creating an English countryside with homes in styles from
Georgian to Queen Anne. En route visit Tea Estates and Waterfalls.

6 th Day – Bentota.
Blissfully spend your time as you wish whether it be indulging in fine spa treatment or relaxing by the
beautiful Indian Ocean.

7 th Day – Drop to Bandaranaike International Airport.
